the Kashi experience

Well, I'm not really "into" frozen meals, or pizzas for that matter, but still purchase frozen pizzas often to have as a quick meal or snack. I think I tried every frozen pizza in the HEB pizza aisle and was happy when HEB started carrying additional brands such as Amy's, California Pizza Kitchen and Central Market pizzas. The other day I picked up a Kashi roasted veggie pizza and was very delighted with the pizza as a whole. The sauce was nutty and flavorful, while the crust was surprisingly delicious. I liked that the veggies were roasted, because it added another layer of flavor, and because I haven't eaten meat in quite some time now, I do crave the texture of meat at times, so I purchase soy meat products that have the bite I'm looking for. I placed some soy meatballs on the pizza before baking, and have to say that this was one of the most enjoyable "frozen" pizza experiences I've ever had. The pizza is around 5-6 dollars - serves 2, easily but will serve 1 really hungry person. I had my pizza with a side salad, yum! I highly recommend Kashi brand frozen pizzas!
